Foamless batch-off tank
“My Anti-tack agent has a lot of zinc stearate and causes a thick foam, do you have a solution?”
Problem
A manufacturer of rubber compounds, he had several problems with his Anti-tack agent tank. When rubber sheets passed through the tank, they caused a lot of foam to leak out from the sides.
The compounds became very whitish and released dust around the factory. In addition, high concentrations were used.
Solution
OCEAN’s technical team visited the customer and recommended the Anti-tack agent product for rubber compounds, the Anti-tack RuberZol RA139.
Without mineral filler and little stearate, the product was the most recommended to end the foam problem due to its low concentration in dilution with water, reducing the foam caused by products that need high concentrations.
Final result
By replacing the Anti-tack agent mixture with zinc stearate, with the Anti-tack agent RuberZol RA139, the problem was solved.
